Notes About Charging

Solar Power, like an alternator, is not a battery charger! A battery charger is utilized when low batteries require charging.

Solar Power & alternators were created to replace the amperage being used by electric components or parasitic draws with voltage levels controlled by the solar controller & voltage regulator.

The battery should be at least 12.1 volts for solar charge to begin – battery voltage level is between approximately 12.6 volts (100% charged) to 12.1 volts (25% charged).

T3KMD Solar Panels

T3KMD Flex Solar Panels attach with 1” wide Double Sided Tape but, have options with fastener holes on the panel and controller. Sikaflex bond can also been utilized but it’s difficult to remove.

MD Solar Components are suitable for 12 & 24 volt systems.
